Scientific research is crucial to solving our world’s most pressing problems. Today, most of this research is not freely available: there are huge costs to publish and to access knowledge. This is inhibiting discoveries and breakthroughs. Through Free the Science, ECS will remove publishing barriers to ensure that the sciences of sustainability and progress are free and open to everyone.
